Finding Purpose – 8 Tips for Success in Business

I love to absorb information from people who are actively pursuing their dreams. What separates them from everyone else? What keeps making them push for something better? During my usual morning routine, I stumbled across these 8 refreshing tips by  Steve Bennett:

  1. Speak your mind
  2. Smile and laugh
  3. No ideas are stupid
  4. Waste is bad
  5. Make it simple
  6. Every time should be like the first
  7. Authenticity is essential
  8. Customers are precious

Based on the 8 tips above, I wrote the passage below with the hope to inspire someone else to pursue their dreams:

Don’t beat around the bush. Be honest with others, but most importantly with yourself. If you take life too seriously, you will miss out on everything valuable in this world; it’s not like we are going to make it out alive anyway!

Smile even if you don’t want to, and by all means, laugh! It’s contagious. Why should we spread hate and discontent when nobody has time for that!

Albert Einstein once said, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid. ” There is no such thing as a bad idea, impracticable maybe, but not wrong. This is especially true if you learned something new. Fail, learn, then try again. Repeat this as many times as necessary.

Even though we live in a universe full of abundance, wasting your time and resources is a colossal waste of an epic mind. When all else fails, use the KISS principle.

Do you remember successfully landing  a job for the first time? How about your first crush? Remember how you felt? Get excited about everything, everyday. Make every impression count, it will go far!

Show compassion and respect to your peers, clients, family and complete strangers. Let people love you and let that goodness spread.

If you felt inspired, share this for the people you care about!

Have a wonderful day!
